This category specialist role is responsible for obtaining the procurement of logistics and packaging materials across China in align with the Global / Regional category strategies. He/she need to work through established contracts for centrally sourced items and/or through the selection of suppliers for non-centrally sourced items, including supplier performance tracking, contract negotiation & documentation, provides support to cost optimization, supply chain risk management and sourcing project if needed.

This role is responsible for managing a designated sales territory within China and selling Cabot's carbon black reinforcing materials, while generating and achieving all sales and profit metrics as a fully qualified and experienced sales professional who excels in handling high-volume and/or complex accounts. This role reports to Commercial Director.
Effectively and efficiently lead and direct the production, maintenance and WPS departments at the plant where applicable, in producing quality products while complying with all policies, procedures, regulations, laws, and maintaining alignment with Cabot’s Vision & Values. As part of the local management team, develop and implement site long-range plans, goals and objectives that support, and are aligned with, business and global manufacturing goals. Share key learnings and seek improvements in technology and managerial methods from others.
This role is responsible for technical sales support of FMO products in the AP region, ensuring customer satisfaction by providing product information, consultation services, and resolving product-related issues. Key responsibilities include coordinating resources to support the sales team, assisting in the promotion of new products or new-grade products, following up on product quality feedback and driving the efficient closure of related issues, while also providing guidance to relevant personnel and supporting the Responsible Care® Management System to meet RC14001® specification requirements.

Performs basic accounting and financial reporting activities. Supports Finance Manager in one or more of the following areas: Internal control, distributor compliance, regional lease accounting, financial information analysis, fixed assets, contract seal management.
Execute accounting activities to ensure the company’s assets are protected and enhanced, consistent with corporate goals and global standards and assist in ensuring that regulatory/statutory and internal control requirements relating to the financial affairs of the company are adhered to. Ensure the integrity of the financial records, reports, and processes. Provide timely accounting reports to the management team to allow for prudent business action. May provide support in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, consolidations, tax, statutory filings and payroll.
Assists the Product Manager in developing and guiding relevant plans and initiatives to optimize the growth and profitability of all products under the Battery Materials business within the global/China business segment. Combines financial planning and analysis capabilities with a business perspective: supports the development of pricing models and similar tools, while monitoring costs and identifying optimization opportunities from a product management standpoint.
