Cabot Corporation is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics team at our Mumbai Office.  This position plays an important role of bridging the gap between our business stakeholders and third-party implementation team and will be key to the continued successful implementation of the Cabot RENEW Digitalization project.   The Data and Analytics team supports key initiatives that accelerate the development of the data management platforms and architecture (Provisioning of data in Data Lake, Master Data Management, Data Quality Monitoring, Data Governance and Advanced Analytics). The Data Engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders across the Company to deliver reporting solutions and facilitate seamless data access across the corporate functions and plant solutions landscape. This role requires familiarity with BI, Data Warehousing, Cloud, relational database concepts as well as experience in the data and analytics domain. Reporting to the Senior Director of Data and Analytics and IPA, the Data Engineer must have a passion for data and deep understanding of data concepts, dimensional modeling and experience with Microsoft and Oracle Analytics Tools. The ideal candidate has experience understanding process and reporting needs in a manufacturing organization and will support Cabot in becoming a data driven organization by capturing the reporting requirements, build dimensional model and create visualization to share the insights.
